Count fares without internet
Roads have gaps in coverage. Rodu keeps counting.
Keep counting
Tap +1 fare as usual. The counter moves at once, with no wait, even without internet. Every fare is saved on your phone with its time.
What waits for internet
A banner tells you how many changes are waiting. They are sent in order when the connection returns, with nothing counted twice. Starting a shift needs internet, so start before you leave.
If the app closes
If the app closes or the GPS is lost, your fares stay on the phone. Open Rodu again and resume your shift. After 20 minutes without a position, the line sees your unit as silent.
Record a route without internet
A route recording is also kept on your phone, and its photos are uploaded when the internet returns. See the article Record a route.
At the end of the day
Close your shift. The amount to hand over is computed on your phone with the last known payment model and confirmed once the internet returns.
